Sweet yet naughty. That is the only way I can describe this jerky. The fact that it is turkey is neither here nor there. I "gobbled" a pound of it up in one sitting. Washed it down with a rootbeer and felt like a contestant on Survivor that had been eating beetles for 2 weeks. Just delicious.
I would recommend this jerky to anyone who likes Honeynut Cheerios. Similar taste in that they both have a honey flavor. Also, if you are a fan of Thanksgiving you will like the turkey aspects to this jerky. What a combo. What I do to make it extra personal to me, I take a turkey baster and actually add extra honey with that. It can get really sticky though so be warned! What you might want to do is wipe off the excess with a popsicle stick. I do that for my kids and then add life savers to the stick as a treat. They call it them lifepops.
Side note: If you eat more than a pound in one sitting you seriously should pick up some Tums. I made the mistake of not having some on hand once and nearly ruined the carpet in my poodle Roxy's bedding.
